Greetings All, For fellow nosy parkers who might be interested in my background, here is a few words about me.
I’m Rebecca Howes, Londoner. I graduated from the University of Bristol nearly 4 years ago, and since then I’ve had a varied professional life. Right now, I work as a strategy analyst for the BBC’s Global News Division. Prior to that, I was in the slower paced world of academic publishing, an assistant commissioning editor at Oxford University Press.
A few of my favourite things (this will change so I’ll try and update this bit to keep it current!):
Book: The Reader by Bernard Schlink
Film: Life is Beautiful
Blog: Jeff Jarvis, BuzzMachine
Newspaper: The Guardian
Magazine: Lonely Planet
Place: New York
Famous people I would like to have round for dinner (dead or alive): Winston Churchill, Stephen Fry, Richard Briers, Julie Delpy, Charles Dickens
